VINDHARPEN is a true piece of underground from the danish farmland. Originally came in very small numbers as a private pressing on MC in 1975.

This musical sitarjourney leads you through a mystical world filled with exotic instruments and eastern vibes. The acoustic sounds go from hypnotic soundscapes to fragile melancholic folk. Gypsy violin, stoned ragas and backwards voices are bound to send your inner acidhead out in the open. VINDHARPENS progressive and psychedelic folkrock is a garden filled with fairytales and flying carpets. We were lucky enough to get the original mastertapes and were able to create the crystalclear sound this music deserves.

Danish rock music has nearly no tradition of sitar and eastern influences but this one is different. In the future we will present a lot more recordings from the 70's experimental underground of Aalborg. From fragile folk to hardrocking acid sounds, livingroom recordings, aularamblings and guitar overdosed live concerts.

VINDHARPEN: Rejsen til Yenan (ORPH 006)2002 LP: €12, $12, DKK 125, 180 gram vinyl.
